About Treat

Treat is building a new system to solve disease - starting with pets, and eventually accelerating biology for humans too.

Pets live in our homes, share our environments, and develop many of the same diseases we do. We believe that bond isn’t an accident. Yet for too long our pets have been treated as second class patients.

We’re changing that.

Treat runs real-world clinical research in pets to validate interventions faster, generate high-integrity evidence, and improve outcomes for the animals we love.

And yes - we’re a pet biotech in NYC.

Traction

We’ve proven demand. Now we need to scale the machine.

The Mission: Build our Pack.

Every study we run starts with one thing - getting the right pets. We’ve run over 30 studies to date, and helped thousands of dogs in the process. Today, that depends on a mix of paid channels, partnerships, and word of mouth - it works, but it’s a scramble every time.

Your mission is to build that system - and then grow it.

There are 87 million dogs and 76 million cats in the US. That's twice as many pets as children.

Our long-term vision: every single one of them on our platform - giving pets access to science and care at a level that's never existed.

Your role is to build the "evergreen" recruitment funnel that gets us there. Pets sign up at any point in their life - healthy or struggling, young or old - and stay in the network until a study or treatment fits. Most won't be put in a study tomorrow, but when they need us, they're already in our orbit and know who we are.

Day to day: experiments, channels, playbook, brand. You're starting from scratch. Some weeks you'll be at three Brooklyn dog parks running around with A/B tested flyers. Other weeks you'll be knee-deep analysing conversion data, killing tactics you used to love because they don't pay back.

Both are the job.

You'll grow our waitlist from thousands to tens of thousands — one experiment, one partnership, one Goldendoodle at a time.

You'll own this from day one, with a path to Head of Growth as the team scales.
